Extend your arms forward and let your palms rest on the floor. Inhale and exhale as you hold the position.
- Siddhasana. Also called the Accomplished Pose. Sit on the floor with your legs crossed, with your hands resting on your knees or on your lap, palms facing up. Raise your head to lengthen the spine, even as you drop your shoulders, lean back, and press your chest forward. If you want, you can use what is called the hand mudra, wherein your index fingers will touch the thumbs of the same hand, the three fingers extended forward. Inhale and exhale as you hold the position.
